Spiritual Art

I believe in God and faith has been a great source of inspiration since childhood. Other than icons I love painting non-canonical artworks that allow me express my devotion outside rigorous boundaries and portray my very own personal spiritual experiences.

Precious Tears

Our tears are precious. I created this series to completely shift the perception of tears being reduced to rock bottom and weakness. We cry not just during moments of sadness, but as well when we feel the most overwhelming joy or even relief. Sometimes we cry for losing something or someone, not knowing that something (or someone) better awaits. “Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5).

In a world that encourages people to hide emotions, I follow the opposite and decided to create an entire eulogy to tears. Tears are distilled emotions, the purest form of humanity. I have chosen to break free from my previous style and incorporate different materials in my paintings like real flowers, gold and silver flakes, glass, pearls, crystals and more. This was meant to add a more dramatic dimension to my work and to express how precious our tears really are.

Laic Art

I see beauty in everything. A mundane event, a discussion with a random stranger, a book or a song can inspire me. These are artworks that do not have any spiritual or metaphysical sources of inspiration, but are very much born out of every day life experiences.

Romanian Heritage

I left Romania in 2006 and immersed myself in different cultures ever since. I have not forgotten where I come from, though, and the Romanian culture, the beautiful landscapes and rich folklore have inspired many of my paintings.

Childhood Art

Artworks created any time between the age of 3 until my teenage years. They range from naïve art to brutal expressions of teenage struggles.
